hey, neighbors!

We’re Liz and Raymond, a husband and wife team walking out this beautiful, wild adventure together through our shared faith and calling to love our neighbors. All of them. Period. ;)

What started as a few supplies in the back of Liz’s car has grown into something we never could have planned. We are now entering our fourth year of street ministry and expanding into a coffee and outreach trailer, serving our community by day and our unhoused neighbors by night.

In the early days, it looked like late nights, full trunks, and showing up however we could, bringing blankets, snacks, supplies, and conversation to our friends on the streets. Over time, the needs, calling, and outreach began to grow. What once fit in the back of a car became carloads of donations. Friends and strangers alike stepped in with generosity, encouragement, and a willingness to help care for neighbors experiencing homelessness.

Now, Neighbors has grown into a community effort made up of regular volunteers, consistent donations of supplies, and a whole lot of people who want to love their neighbors well. It is humbling and beautiful.

Jesus said the greatest commandments are to love God and to love your neighbor as yourself, and that lays the foundation for everything we do. Neighbors exists because we believe every person is created in the image of God and is worthy of dignity, compassion, and care.

So, whether we’re serving coffee during the day or sharing meals and blankets on the streets at night, our hope is to reflect the love of Christ in tangible ways. And while supplies and food are important, the true heart of Neighbors has always been relationship. Our goal is not simply to distribute items, but to build trust, listen to stories, pray with people, and remind our neighbors that they are seen, considered, and worthy of love. A meal, a blanket, or a cup of coffee might open the door, but conversation, trust, and friendship are where the real work and healing happen. It is our honor and joy to help spread and share truth, kindness, and love.

With the launch of our coffee and outreach trailer, we’re stepping into a new season, one that allows us to continue this work in a more sustainable and connected way, while still holding onto the heart it all started with. Because at the end of the day, this has never been about a program or a plan. It’s about people. It’s about showing up. And it’s about trusting that God can take something small like a car full of supplies, and grow it into something far bigger than we could imagine. Glory to God!

With that, it’s nice to meet you, neighbor! ;) If you see us around, please stop and say hi! We’d love to share more about us, learn more about you, and continue growing this community and the Kingdom together.
